Extra credit is addressed here. Please note that the most extra credit possible is less than 1/3 of a grade. Extra credit will only be counted in cases where students' final grades are right at the cutoff between 2 grades (then it may help to push up).

The Pace University library has set up a useful guide for independent research designed for students who are interested in business ethics, and or/those seeking material for extra credit projects. The link is here.

Week 9

Thursday 31 October Wednesday 6 November

Welcome to midterm exam week!

The assignment this week is to review our readings, the online lectures, the discussion board, and the professor’s responses to your discussion board work.

Instructions for the midterm exam

The exam is open book; you are free to use your textbook, notes and the class videos.

It will be available to you to take from Sunday to Monday (3 November and 4 November) which gives you a weekend day and a weekday for the test which should take about 75 - 90 minutes to complete, though you are free to use as much time as you wish.

On Sunday morning the exam will be available on Classes, on the Announcements page.

You should present your responses in a Word doc if possible. Please label your exam with your last name “Smith.doc” and my email is: jbrusseau@pace.edu

If you have not already done so, please watch the video discussing what the midterm exam will look like.

This video shows real student answers to exam essay questions, and demonstrates what good (and not so good) answers look like, as well as showing how grading will be approached.

Finally, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me directly or, even better, post them in the forum titled “Questions for the Professor.”

Good luck with your studies! We’ve had some nice discussion board work, and I’m looking forward to seeing your exam responses.
