Case Study: Stakeholders vs. Shareholders: Haas Faculty Debate
Please watch the case study below.
This Oxford-style debate addresses some issues and ethical dilemmas in the area of corporate social responsibility, and in the tension between shareholders and stakeholders. In your own words, how would you formulate the central conflict here? Do you come down on one side or the other? Why?
Also, respond to at least two of your classmates.
And, remember to cite the names of the theories you are relying on to form your arguments! As we head to the final we want to tighten up our form of arguing.
